BOEING C-17 GLOBEMASTER III

Buffalo Hydraulic has been awarded a contract to design and build 62 custom load cells to accurately determine cargo loads in modified C-17 Globemaster III aircraft.

With a maximum load capacity of 170,900 Lbs. and at a cost of over $220m this massive jet has proved its worth in a multitude of tasks ranging from domestic firefighting support, Katrina rescue & relief to ongoing missions of troop & supply transportation in Afghanistan and Iraq.

This project was very successful and was completed on a very tight delivery schedule, along with extensive written, detailed testing certification!
