Under Montana’s Big Sky.

For me, guessing how many geese are migrating overhead, and how many deer, elk, or buffalo are grazing before me, is far from accurate. Even more unimaginable is trying to guess how many stars fill our galaxy.

With NASA’s vast knowledge, scientists estimate that the Milky Way contains somewhere between 100 billion and 400 billion stars.

That number is far beyond anything I can truly fathom. Heading to the darkest skies you can find – like the remote wilderness of Montana’s Big Sky Country makes the experience absolutely fascinating.

Set up your tripod, dial in an ISO of 1600, choose a 15-second shutter speed, and look up. Capturing even a tiny glimpse of those billions of stars is truly remarkable – and great fun!

Experiences like these are an incredible gift – memories of adventure, wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and time together that we will cherish forever.

It’s exciting to share more of these adventures – how they have inspired us, strengthened our faith, and shown us the awe-inspiring beauty of the world around us!

Our hope is that these journeys will inspire and uplift you, and maybe even spark a few adventures of your own!
