BVA Hydraulics HLN5508 Lock Nut Style Hydraulic Jacking Cylinders

  • 10,000 p.s.i. Maximum operating pressure.
  • 109,900 Lbs. force at maximum pressure.
  • 12.40″ Collapsed height.
  • 7.87″ Stroke/Travel.
  • Single acting, load return, lock nut design.
  • Bypass port design prevents overtravel.
  • Nickel-plated plunger serves to resist corrosion.
  • Hardened plunger load caps and lifting eyes are standard on all models.

All BVA Hydraulics Cylinders are ASME B30.1 compliant in design, manufacture, and testing.

The ‘HLN’ series offers (30) standard models ranging from 55 – 300 tons capacity.  This design incorporates an engineered, load-holding plunger thread and mating lock nut.  Simply, as the plunger rises, the mating lock-nut can be screwed down against the cylinder body.  With scheduled time outs and following this procedure, engineered mechanical cribbing is now part of your high-tonnage hydraulic jacking project.  With safety in mind, this concept can be used in any lifting operation and provides substantial integrity in high-tonnage bridge jacking systems.

BVA Limited Lifetime Warranty

All BVA Hydraulics products are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship.  Any BVA product that does not conform to specification will be repaired or credited (at BVA’s option) at BVA’s expense for the life of the product.  Contact BVA or Buffalo Hydraulic for the disposition of this warranty. This warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear, abuse, misuse, alteration, or use of improper fluids or maintenance as determined by BVA and its authorized service centers.  All electric motors, gas engines, batteries,s and other parts or materials sold with or as part of BVA products but are separately warranted by another manufacturer, are covered by that manufacturer’s warranty and not the BVA Lifetime Warranty.  BVA shall not be liable for consequential or incidental damage or loss.
