BVA Hydraulics HLN Series lock nut style of high tonnage, hydraulic jacking cylinders are offered in varying capacities and stroke amounts through 30 models and up to 300 tons capacity.
An engineered plunger thread and mating lock nut serve to create mechanical load-holding quality for added safety in any lifting project. With scheduled time-outs, the lock nut can be screwed down against the cylinder body offering engineered load support.
HLN-5502 models are shown and are equipped with optional CVMS3, manually operated, load-holding check valves. In the closed position, flow/pressure is allowed into the cylinder, checking any reverse flow. In the open (retract) position, this CVMS3 valve allows free flow in both directions.
Incorporating load-holding check valves and lock-nut style cylinders into a high-tonnage jacking system provides a much greater level of safety quality.
All BVA Hydraulics Cylinders are designed, manufactured, and tested in compliance with ASME B30.1.
