The BVA Hydraulics HLN-Series of jacking cylinder incorporates an engineered threaded plunger combined with a mating lock nut. This design creates mechanical load holding without hydraulic pressure. As the plunger begins to rise, the mating lock nut can be screwed down against the cylinder body. Utilizing this concept in a jacking system will bring a great deal of safety to the application.
With many standard models to choose from, this cylinder concept can be used as a single-point, or in a multi-point system.
Bridge jacking systems, building lifting, foundation repair, trucks, trains or any high tonnage jacking application can all be accomplished in a safe and efficient manner using lock nut style hydraulic jacking cylinders.
All BVA Hydraulics Cylinders meet or exceed ASME B30.1 design specifications.
