Dear Friends,
Buffalo Hydraulic began with Leo Phillips’ heart and dedication, and was then followed by several decades of Robert Phillips’ zeal and passion. 75 years have since passed and from there, I have been blessed with 46 years of countless opportunities and challenging projects, always bearing the thumbprints of my father and grandfather.
It cannot be overlooked that God has blessed every turn and every chapter, even to this day. It is now, however, time for me to retire, and before I do, I’m happy to say that we just completed our final project – a jacking system to be used on a rig on Native American Tribal Lands. I do not believe in coincidence, and this project is far more than “just another hydraulic project.” I have always been grateful for every opportunity, but to support anything Native American is particularly meaningful to me.
Equally important is my appreciation to all of you with whom we had the opportunity to work. All that we have been able to do in walking with you, through you, and alongside you is truly amazing to me and cannot be overstated—thank you so very much!
My hope is that retirement might allow Debbie and I to more frequently visit the Lakota men, women, and children of South Dakota and the Black Hills. Without question, spending more time together will be my top priority, and regularly begging Debbie to plan another visit to the Badlands and where-they-roam will now be my full-time job.
It’s always been very clear to me that a large part of the heart of Buffalo Hydraulic has come from my family, and I am forever grateful for the support that I have been given in this regard.
Observing the amazing character qualities of my son and daughter as they continue on their young path is truly remarkable. Experiencing their walk, up close and in color, will forever remain an incredible joy for me.
In closing and with great respect to my father and grandfather, we will retain all intellectual property, internet domain, and copyright material pertaining to Buffalo Hydraulic, and will soon terminate operations.
Thank you all, and again for your part in this chapter of life!
Grace and Peace,
Bob Phillips
