The Black Hills offer an incredible variety of hikes, from short, easy treks to long, challenging, rocky adventures, and every one delivers unforgettable scenery.

Beginning at Sylvan Lake, the Sunday Gulch Trail descends through a rugged rock-scrambling section, offering stunning views of the towering, massive granite formations above. At the bottom of the gulch, we crossed the creek twice before beginning a breathtaking climb out of the canyon. With every step upward, the scenery becomes more spectacular, revealing surreal views of Black Elk Peak and the soaring granite Cathedral Spires.
