In Loving Memory – Jeff Gould.

With great sadness, this week marked five years since the passing of a very close friend, Jeff Gould, on August 4, 2021.

For over 33 years, Jeff served as a Territory Manager for a hydraulic manufacturer that we represented. Throughout that time, our relationship became more than just business  – He became a trusted friend, mentor, and someone my father and I respected deeply.

No matter how high I could ever jump, Jeff always jumped higher. Together, we shared a perfect blend of combining our technical knowledge and experience, allowing us to work together on countless high-tonnage projects, and I will be forever grateful – Not only for everything Jeff brought in a true team approach, but even more so for the incredible character he showed through every relationship and every situation.

Jeff’s spirit was unmistakable. It showed in all he did and especially in the way he treated those he worked with. Always sharing his love for his family, Jeff’s service through Honor Flight also reflected his true heart and the kind of man he was. His tremendous appreciation and respect for the men and women who served our country was a lesson I feel fortunate to have witnessed.

From his hospital bed, Jeff told me that he would be home in a few days. Together, we went on to complete what would become our last project – a torquing application.  The following day, I received the devastating news that Jeff didn’t make it home and that he passed away…

Five years later, I remain incredibly grateful for the 3+ decades we shared, the countless projects we completed, and most of all, the friendship we built. The life lessons, memories, and lasting impact he left behind far outweigh the sadness of his loss.

I will always remember Jeff – Not only as a trusted business partner, but as a close friend, mentor, and a truly exceptional man.

In Loving Memory
With Respect, Admiration, Honor & Gratitude
Always Remembered
