Centennial Trail – Black Elk Wilderness, South Dakota.
The Black Elk Wilderness spans nearly 13,500 acres and is named in honor of Black Elk, a revered Oglala Lakota holy man. The Centennial Trail extends more than 110 miles, including an especially scenic 8-mile stretch that winds through the Black Elk Wilderness. Lower valley landscapes are filled with fir, ponderosa pine, and spruce forests, gradually giving way to majestic granite peaks and towering spires at higher elevations.
It’s exciting to share more of these adventures – Experiences that have inspired us, strengthened our faith, and shown us the awe-inspiring beauty of the world around us!
Our hope is that these journeys will inspire and uplift you, and maybe even spark a few adventures of your own!
